The problem
Writing fresh practice for every topic, at more than one level, is slow work. Sending students AI questions that nobody has checked isn't an option either.
A first draft you can check before class
Pick a topic, choose how many questions and the difficulty, and ClassKite drafts them into a new practice. The practice starts closed, so students can't see it while you edit the wording, fix an answer or delete a question. If you prefer your own AI assistant, download the Question Bank template (a spreadsheet with a built-in prompt), have the assistant fill it in and upload it back. You can also write the questions yourself.

Ask for maths practice on a topic and it drafts multiple-choice and number questions. A number answer can be typed as a decimal or a fraction, such as 0.75 or 3/4.

Ask for easier or harder questions, and the number you need.

Generated questions sit in the class's practices beside the ones you wrote. Copy the class and they come with it.

Frequently asked questions
Does the AI replace the teacher?
No. The AI writes a first draft into a practice that stays closed until you open it. You check the wording, choices and answers, change what needs changing, and decide when students see it.
Can I use my own AI assistant instead?
Yes. Download the Question Bank template, a spreadsheet with a built-in prompt and an instructions sheet for AI agents. Give it to your AI assistant, adjust the prompt, let the assistant fill in the questions, then upload the file back. You can also write questions by hand.
What question types can it make?
The AI drafts multiple choice and fill-in-the-blank (word or number). You can edit any question, and write true/false, matching or jumbled-sentence questions yourself.
Can it make maths problems?
Yes. Ask for a topic such as solving linear equations and it drafts multiple-choice and number questions. You can write maths in questions and choices with LaTeX, and a number answer is accepted as a decimal or a fraction.
Does it work for any subject?
The AI is set up as a maths and science teacher. You can ask it for other topics, but read those drafts with extra care.
Does it read my PDFs?
No. It uses the section's title or the topic you type, and the text of that section's examples. An uploaded PDF contributes only its title.
Where do the questions go?
Into a new practice in the section you're working in, beside the questions you wrote or imported. They stay with the class, and come with it when you copy the class for next year or another group.
