The problem
Homework has two costs: setting it, and finding out what it told you. Photocopying and collecting is the first; a pile of books you mark on a Sunday is the second. By the time you have read them, the lesson they should have shaped has already happened.

Any practice you have made can be unlocked for independent work — one practice, or several bundled together as a single set. Students open it on their own devices, answer at their own pace and see whether each answer is right as they go. You get completion, scores and a per-student breakdown in the same reports as your live lessons, so homework and classwork sit side by side.

Frequently asked questions
Can I set a due date?
Not yet. You control availability instead: a practice stays locked until you unlock it, and you close it when the work is done. There are no automatic deadlines or reminder emails.
Is it marked automatically?
Yes, for the question types ClassKite runs — multiple choice, true/false, fill in the blank and short answer are all checked as the student answers.
Can students retake it?
Yes, if you allow a retake. Reports show what each student got right first time as well as what they solved in the end, so a retake doesn't hide the original difficulty.
Do students need an account?
Students join your class with a join code and you approve them. Student accounts are free.
Can I set several practices at once?
Yes — tick a few and open them as a single bundle, which students see as one piece of work.
