Organised the way a teacher thinks

Frequently asked questions
Is ClassKite a full LMS?
It covers the teaching side — classes, materials, questions, practice and progress. It is not a student information system: there is no enrolment administration, timetabling, attendance register, fee handling or parent portal.
Is there a gradebook?
Yes. The Gradebook collects every practice of a class and works out an overall grade for each student from a grading policy you can read: a plain average, or weighted categories and grade bands. It adds a class dashboard, individual reports, report cards as PDF and Excel export. Scores come from the practices themselves; they are not typed in or edited in the Gradebook.
Can a whole school use it?
Yes — the School plan covers teachers in 15-seat blocks, with a school admin view that includes every class's Gradebook and the school's grading policies. See the schools page for how that works.
Can I move my existing material in?
Upload your PDFs as they are, and bulk-import questions from the spreadsheet template. Nothing needs reformatting.
